Started this WordPress.com blog on January 9, 2006 and will likely get to 10,000 views withing a few hours. Been getting anything from 60 to 130 views everyday day, for an average of maybe 80 views per day. The most popular entries seem to be:
Probably because of the way they’re referenced elsewhere.
None of this is really important, as my purpose is not to get as many eyeballs as possible. In terms of experimenting with blogs, it’s just interesting to see what’s happening here. Not that it’s representative.

I know what you mean about the comments… however, I just realized like 5 minutes ago that I had this filter on my comments in which I had to approve each comment and that I forgot to fill in the e-mail field so I never got any of the comments because they were waiting for me to approve them… I can be a dumbass. That was a really long phrase….

Those filtering system can make our lives much easier but care should be taken in their use.
WordPress.com blogs use Akismet which can be used on other blogs as well. It’s really efficient. On another blog of mine, Akismet has caught 11,352 spam comments for me. Messages are approved otherwise and notifications are sent to me. So far, it has worked quite well…
